When we were child, the central desert of Iran was shown to us and it was said, you know, here had been ocean and this desert field was once under water, thousands of years ago.. For a long time we would stared at the sand dunes and the thorny bushes, milk vetch and the hillside of the mountains, and imagined fish and whales swimming in the sky above them. Even now, over the years, the greatness of that astonishment has not diminished. Like the wonder of watching the sky and imagining distances and sizes. Now, this is a short time that we are in the Netherlands. One of the first propositions that raised to us and in the first days in the definition of this land was told to us was that, you Know the Netherlands is at an altitude below sea level and a once was not far has been underwater and even a parts of it are now under It is water, and by controlling and managing the water of roads and canals, the ground has been adapted for habitation. So we continued same childhood imagination here, except that now we stare at the ground and imagine ourselves in the seabed.

Accordibgly, we in the irap company, based on the originality of the interrelationality in art, and through the connection with non-artistic people and fields, are seeking for finding hidden spaces and addressing less seen angles, to expand the spaces of possibilities for a more desirable life.

Accordingly, we, Azadeh Baluchi (With a background of activities in the fields of designing/making jewelry, painting, drawing) and Peyman Gerami (With a background in activities in the fields of painting, design, history and philosophy of art, nursing, Master of Interrelational art practices of Hanze University), after 15 years of study and activity in Iran, have founded this company at the beginning of 2022 in Amsterdam. We very much hope that through it, and in the context of the intercultural experiences in the Netherland, will be possible to formed the groundwork for dynamic relationships in art with daily life of different newcomer communities in the Netherlands.
Because we believe that there are many hidden spaces that can be added to living spaces by the power of creativity of art.
